Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will Support implementation in each factory of relevant tools and processes improving manufacturing standards and advanced technologies. Support the design of Global Manufacturing footprint strategy in accordance with BL requirements and in collaboration with BL global manufacturing manager, supporting local units in the execution. Support a continuous improvement (CI) culture focusing on Customer within the area of responsibility. The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Smart Power – Critical Power Business to be based at Nelamangala, BANGALORE, India. You will be mainly accountable for: Support the Global Manufacturing Manager (GMM) in developing a customer-focused operations strategy and executing global footprint/product localization initiatives. Assist in building an effective, well-balanced, and global manufacturing organization through continuous organizational improvement. Support the monitoring and attainment of global operational KPIs while ensuring effective execution of global projects, with a focus on assessing local execution teams in India. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement across the organization by supporting process optimization and operational excellence efforts. Collaborate with global and local stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategic manufacturing objectives, project execution, and organizational performance. Qualifications for the role: Bachelor’s degree in electrical and Electronics Engineering with demonstrated professional accomplishment. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering within a global matrix organization. Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions. Solid stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. In-depth technical knowledge of Critical Power product lines, including Power Conditioning systems. Good understanding of Power Distribution solutions and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) technologies. Fluency in English, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
