This Position reports to: TA Team Lead Your role and responsibilities : As part of our strategic workforce planning, we are building a Talent Pool for Sales Support Specialists to support future requirements within the Energy Industries / Process Automation business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide sales support and technical solutions for Energy Industries customers. The position involves hands-on contribution to technical and commercial bid activities for global projects. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: Executing bid activities for Greenfield and Brownfield projects, including Excitation System offerings. Supporting product selection and preparation of techno-commercial offers. Coordinating with factories and internal teams for product and solution inputs. Supporting bidding strategy, cost optimization, and technical solution development. Ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of technical and commercial bids. Driving cross-functional collaboration across sales, engineering, factories, and global stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with international standards, statutory requirements, and business governance. Supporting project handover and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications for the role : Diploma or Degree in Engineering from a reputed university (should be full-time) 5–15 years of experience in: Sales support, bidding, or engineering for industrial projects Excitation Systems (Greenfield and Brownfield) Automation (DCS /PLC/Safety PLC/Power Management Systems), solutions including cybersecurity for energy industries. Instrumentation or Analytics Strong knowledge of Excitation Products (ABB and/or non-ABB). Exposure to DC Drive products is preferred. Experience in supporting international projects is an advantage.
