Software Development Engineer in Test II Gurugram - HQ Job Title: Senior Engineer - Solution QA Company Name: GreyOrange Job Description: As a Senior Engineer in Solution QA at GreyOrange, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge robotic solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and operations teams, to define and improve testing processes, develop test strategies, and execute comprehensive test plans. Your expertise will be critical in identifying potential issues and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance and quality before delivery to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute robust test plans and test cases for robotic solutions and software applications. - Identify, analyze, and document defects, and work collaboratively with the development team to ensure timely resolution. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate the full range of system functionality. - Develop automation scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality assurance process. - Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to understand system requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies. - Conduct risk assessments and contribute to product release readiness reviews. - Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality within the team. Skills and Tools Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. - Strong experience in software testing methodologies and tools. - Proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript). - Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. - Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Selenium). - Solid understanding of agile development practices and the software development lifecycle. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. - Proven ability to communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders. - Experience in testing robotic systems or hardware-software integration is a plus.
