About the role
IT Procurement (Europe/EMEA Market) Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Procurement Professional with 8–10 years of proven expertise in strategic IT procurement, including substantial experience managing procurement activities across the European region. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading end-to-end sourcing initiatives for IT hardware, software, cloud technologies, SaaS applications, telecommunications, and technology services. This role requires expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and procurement governance, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable European regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end procurement of IT products and services across the Europe region from local vendors. Develop and execute sourcing strategies for software, cloud services, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity solutions, telecom, and professional services across the Europe region from local vendors. Manage strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract finalization. Collaborate closely with IT, Information Security, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver timely, value-driven procurement solutions. Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, SLAs, licensing models, payment terms, and contract renewals to maximize business value. Build and manage relationships with global and regional technology vendors and service providers. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations, and applicable European regulations such as GDPR, DORA, CRA etc Partner closely with IT, Information Security, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and deliver timely sourcing support. Drive supplier performance reviews, vendor governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies to identify cost-saving and value creation opportunities. Support budgeting, demand planning, spend analysis, and procurement reporting. Mitigate supply chain, commercial, and contractual risks while ensuring business continuity.
