About the role

Pricing Strategy Director Who we are We're Redis. We built the product that runs the fast apps our world runs on. (If you checked the weather, used your credit card, or looked at your flight status online today, you’re welcome.) At Redis, you’ll work with the fastest, simplest technology in the business—whether you’re building it, telling its story, or selling it to our 10,000+ worldwide customers. We’re creating a faster world with simpler experiences. You in? Why would you love this job? This role sits at the center of product innovation and revenue growth, giving you the opportunity to shape how Redis monetizes one of the world’s most widely adopted data platforms. You’ll influence company-wide strategy while partnering deeply with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Sales to drive scalable, durable growth across cloud and software. What you’ll do: - Lead the evolution of Redis’ global pricing and packaging strategy across cloud and self-managed offerings to accelerate growth and improve monetization. - Partner closely with Product to design pricing and packaging for new product launches, ensuring monetization is embedded early in the product lifecycle. - Drive pricing optimization initiatives, including usage-based models, discount policies, and expansion levers to maximize ARR and long-term customer value. - Collaborate with Sales, RevOps, and Finance to establish scalable pricing guardrails and policies that empower the field while protecting margin and consistency. - Own the strategy and development of pricing calculators with Product Marketing to support both self-serve and sales-led motions. - Use data-driven insights, experimentation, and competitive analysis to continuously refine pricing strategy and packaging structure. What will you need to have? - 10+ years of experience in pricing, monetization, strategy, or revenue operations in B2B SaaS, cloud, or infrastructure businesses. - Demonstrated success leading pricing and packaging strategy for complex product portfolios, ideally including usage-based or consumption models. - Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience partnering deeply with Product and influencing senior stakeholders. - Analytical rigor with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable pricing strategies. - Experience collaborating with Sales organizations on pricing policies, discounting frameworks, and deal optimization. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to align executives and drive decisions in ambiguous environments. Extra great if you have: - Experience in developer tools, infrastructure software, open-source, or data platforms. - Prior ownership of pricing calculators or self-serve pricing experiences. - Experience scaling pricing strategy in a high-growth, multi-product environment. We give back to our employees: Our culture is what makes Redis a fun and rewarding place to work. To support you at work and beyond, we offer all our US team members fantastic benefits and perks: - Competitive salaries and equity grants - Unlimited time off to promote a healthy work-life balance - H/D/V coverage along with 401K, FSA, and commuter benefits - Frequent team celebrations and recreation events - Home internet & phone stipend - Learning and development opportunities - Ability to influence a high-performance company on its way to IPO The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $210,000 – $240,000 per year in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate’s work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis’ total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions.
