THE ROLE: As a Product Development engineer, you will collaborate with various Product Development Groups to bring-up and ramp new products which include Plan, debug and handle manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors. THE PERSON: A successful candidate is one who can drive technical decisions independently, has accountability for accuracy, reliability and completeness of assignment results critical to the project’s success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop test program infrastructure incorporating latest Best-Known methods Validate new product features, test conditions, test methodologies, and test contents during first silicon bring-up Post Silicon Bring up of Test patterns leading to optimization for mass production enablement Analysis of part failures leading to test improvement Test pattern & test flow development, debug, test and characterization PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, shell script Proficient in Linux, Unix or Windows OS Experience in silicon debug, logic analyzers, voltmeters, oscilloscopes Statistical analysis experience to resolve population mean and outliers ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test experience ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or comparable disciplines LOCATION: Suzhou #LI-VC1 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
